This incredible opportunity is the second in a series of solos for various ensembles at varying experience levels.  Following up on the success of "New Horizons" in 2024, this consortium project is for the commissioning of a Grade 3/4 to Grade 1 work that features a woodwind solo part appropriate for an advanced middle school student or high school musician.  It will include parts for flute, clarinet, and saxophone, so you could choose to feature a single soloist or several students playing different parts of the solo.

CONSORTIUM FEE: $100

For this particular consortium, the work will be at a Grade 3/4-1 level, suitable for most elementary and middle school bands, with a solo woodwind.  Participants will receive the following:

​

• Being part of a collective world premiere (exclusive performance rights period August 1-December 31, 2025)

• Mention of director's name and school/ensemble name in the score

• Delivery of parts and score digitally no later than July 31, 2025

• Practice materials and exercises to help prepare the piece

• All duplication, performance, and recording rights included
