Spirit Song was written after reflection on Ephesians 5:19, where is talks about singing songs from the Spirit. Music is a tool that I use not only to be creative, but to connect with my Creator. Music lifts my inner being, allowing me to grow closer to the Spirit. Spirit Song was premiered by the Burrell High School Concert Band (Lower Burrell, PA), but has been performed at band festivals and at the college level.
