Brian Querry (b. 1977) has been involved in all facets of music education, composition, and multimedia production.  He has a B.S. Degree in Music Education from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, and a M.E.T. in Instructional Technology from Boise State University in Boise, ID, in addition to additional coursework in graduate studies from Duquesne University.  Brian currently teaches music at the middle school level, and has taught general, choral, and instrumental music at all levels, as well as multimedia and video production.  He also serves as a freelance news reporter for a radio station group in New York state.  In addition, he has previously served as a worship director for 17 years at churches in Apollo, PA and Kittanning, PA.

 

Brian is a member of NAfME: The National Association for Music Education, the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association, the Westmoreland County Music Educators Association, and the Pennsylvania Association for Educational Communications and Technology.  As a part of WCMEA, he has served as Vice-President, President, and Past President.  He was a national semi-finalist for the 2019 Grammy Music Educator Award after being recognized as a quarter-finalist 4 times.  He also has been recognized as a Keystone Technology Integrator for the state of Pennsylvania and for numerous other regional and national awards.

 

He began Querry Music Productions in 2005, primarily as a music recording service, but expanding quickly into video production.  In addition, Brian began composing in college, having written dozens of compositions for music ensembles and worship over the past 20+ years.  He currently resides with his family in Pennsylvania.
